Handmade at the Healy Flute Shop in East Greenwich, R.I., I make these sterling silver pendants and earrings starting with key parts from modern flutes and piccolos, OR traditional simple-system 6-keyed "Irish" traditional wooden flutes.
Choices include hand-chased cups, silver braided arms, celtic knots, hearts;
All pendants are backed with mother-of-pearl or rose quartz cabochons, several are reversable.
Large bails accommodate any chain, and the new Argentium Sterling silver alloy (94% silver, 6% germanium) is much slower to tarnish and has a brighter finish than traditional sterling (92.5% silver, 7.5% copper).
These pieces are one-of-a-kind and hand-finished.
